Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacodynamics

Pharmacokinetics vs. Pharmacodynamics. The main difference between pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics is that pharmacokinetics (PK) is defined as the movement of medicines through the body, whereas pharmacodynamics (PD) is defined as the body's natural response to medicines. In vivo safety pharmacology studies should be designed to precisely define the cure- response relationship of the adverse effect observed. Pharmacodynamics (PD) is the study of the physiologic and biochemical goods of medicines (especially pharmaceutical medicines) and to discover how the medicine affects the organism.
